Your wedding ceremony is the most emotional, symbolic and meaningful part of your wedding day. The moments pass so quickly that the day can be a blur. With stunning Central Coast wedding photography, these moments are captured forever and will be enjoyed for generations to come.
Location
Central Coast New South Wales has breathtaking romantic scenery, and many amazing venues and photo opportunities. When choosing your wedding location take into account the time of day that your wedding ceremony will take place, what direction the sun will be in during the ceremony, and where it will be shining in relation to where you are standing. As a talented and renowned Central Coast Wedding photographer I can plan with you where to place your wedding party for the best shots.
When planning a wedding, whether on the Central Coast or anywhere in the world, the bride and groom always wish for a sunny day! However, when photographing a wedding, the sun can sometimes be tricky – it makes people squint and can create unwanted shadows. The sun in not always flattering to the complexion!
Some cloud cover is ideal for wedding photography. That being said, lighting can be worked with to create amazing photographs in any weather.
Having an outdoor wedding is exciting and can take many shapes and forms, from barnyard to formal dinner party! When planning an outdoor wedding, you will need to advise guests on the theme so that they can choose their outfits accordingly and arrive in style.
Co-ordinate Your Invitations
Mention your wedding theme on your invitations so that guests can prepare. Be sure to do this in a friendly and polite way. For example PS: The wedding reception will be held in the garden – please wear suitable footwear and bring a jacket!
It is a nice idea to co-ordinate your invitations to the theme of the wedding. For example, if you are having a beach wedding, use blue and sand coloured tones and add some beach-like designs to the invitation.
What to look for when selecting your Wedding Photographer
I thought I would write a blog about what you should be looking for when selecting your photographer and unfortunately most people go by price alone. I have requests to capture full day (10 hour weddings for $500), but a qualified professional wedding photographer such as Artistique Wedding Photography, located on the Central Coast, cannot sustain this in business. For my full day (9hr) package I charge $1995 and you can pop on over to my website to see the inclusions in this package along with my other packages: www.artistiqueweddingphotography.com.au
Lyn and Robbie’s Sunset Maternity Session
After capturing beautiful family memories on the NSW Central Coast a few years back and then Lyn and Robbie’s engagement session, and then their beautiful Central Coast Wedding. It was great to catch up with them again at Long Jetty, Central Coast NSW recently for their Maternity Session. I had some maternity drapes, but decided to make a lace drape for this special family, I didn’t know if it would fit perfectly but made it adjustable at the back, but it did fit. We had a lot of fun with their children and making the best of the beautiful light down at Long Jetty. I capture quite a few maternity sessions from couples whom I have previously photographed on their wedding day. Here are a few photos from our late afternoon photoshoot.
This morning I met Geoff and Lauren at the Bay Cafe and over a cup of coffee we spent nearly an our going over their exciting plans for their summer beach wedding.
Geoff and Lauren also had an opportunity to view my wedding portfolio (on my new iPad!) and see my style of photography which is natural and candid.
At our meeting we went through the whole day, I found out what is important to Geoff and Lauren, (they mentioned another “must have” photo which is with an old school friend who is making a special trip from the UK for their wedding), this lets me know the type of wedding they are planning and the coverage they require.
